The new school year is well under way and I’m back to my full schedule of monthly visits to early childhood education (ECE) programs in the Greater Boston area. I had a busy, productive summer with visits to my year-round programs, presenting over a dozen family concerts at local libraries, and taping four new episodes of Songs from the Circle at the ACMi studio here in Arlington, MA. My co-producer Rusty Brough and I have just finished editing the shows that we taped this summer, which will begin airing on ACMi in November. They will also be available for viewing at the station’s website, acmi.tv. We’ll be taping another four episodes of Songs from the Circle in late January.TRAVELS
I drove to Cromwell, CT on October 14 to present workshops and exhibit at the Connecticut AEYC Conference. I’m also planning a trip through the Mid-Atlantic states in early March on my way to the Virginia AEYC Conference and will be visiting early childhood education programs on the way down and back. There is also talk of a trip to California in April; more on this later.Keep singing!
